It features a hand-turned 3 1/2" diameter whorl made from Baltic birch ply, with a 10" long birch shaft and a cup hook with a bronze finish.
Stained Gun stock and sealed.
I hand turn these with the mass to the rim for better balance and longer spin, well balanced.
This unique shape is not just stylish but does what a good drop spindle does...spin.
The center cutouts not only makes it lighter it puts the majority of the mass to the rim and that's a good thing. Who doesn't want 20 notches?
