Mini Turkish spindle weighs 11-14 grams.
Handmade from Cherry with a Hard Maple shaft.
The arms measure 2.5"; 5/8" wide and the shaft is 4.25" long.
The shaft has a small finial to hold the half hitch.
These are for spinning very thin cobweb - lace weight yarns and are not intended as beginner spindles.

Asia Spina The Cherry Classic Mini Turkish spindle is really fun to throw in my pocket or a small jar with some fiber. I have a lace weight Polwarth, Silk, and Yak blend on it right now. The extreme curve of the arms isn't my favorite configuration but that's definitely a personal preference. It spins very nicely.
