Mini Turkish spindle weighs 8-11 grams. Handmade from Cherry with a Hard Maple shaft. The arms measure 2.5" and the shaft is 4.25" long. The shaft has a small finial to hold the half hitch.
These are for spinning very thin cobweb - lace weight yarns and are not intended to be used as beginner spindles. Please note this is a very light spindle, with a short spin duration. It will spin longer as the cop of yarn on the spindle gets bigger to add more weight.
