Russian Support Spindle

I now have one each of maple and cherry russian support spindles. They are delightful. Very balanced, very consistent. The long taper gives me maximum torque for a fast spin, and the spindle is lightweight. Absolutely ideal for making extremely fine yarns. 10/10, I am highly likely to buy again: plying directly off the spindle is much easier and I find it is the best way to avoid broken singles when the singles in question are so small. Definitely worth it!

Excellent spindle, perfectly as described. Shipping was very fast! Packaging was perfect, both spindles were well padded and the box was strong enough to survive the U.S. postal system. Spindle is gorgeous as well!

As always wonderful spindles

The spindle is very nice and light weight. As a new spindler, I would not recommend it as a first support spindle. I think if there was a notch at the top it would make it a little easier to get the material on the spindle. I even had trouble with a leader attaching to get started. But, it is a very nice fast spinning, with nothing on it, spindle. Oh, and the support works as well.
