Walnut Standard Turkish Drop Spindle

As a beginner to turkish spindles this turkish spindle is very easy to use and is a good weight. Spins for a long time and allows me to make thin yarn.

Love this little spindle, it's just right.

I learned to spin on a wheel, and tried drop spindles (top whorl) later. I never really got the hang of it, and I got frustrated.
Then I got a Turkish spindle from Snyder! It’s lovely to look at, a well-balanced flyer, easy to add spin to, and so pretty to build a cop on. It just came today and I can’t put it down!
I’ll be coming back for more Turkish spindles from Snyder!

The spindle is so well made. I really enjoy spinning with it. My other "no name" spindle didn't work right. It kept moving wrong. My Snyder spindle is great. I'm so glad at our Weaving and Spinning Conference my teacher told me about this brand. Thank you for quality craftsmanship.
